Dan Grissom describes his art work as a collection of someone else's memories, fuzzy dreams, miscommunications, and unfinished images.
His body of work is diverse and yet the string that connects his pieces is a commonality of nostalgic visions and images. Most of his
pieces are painted on thick wood with frames that have depth (2-4"). The images in Dan's paintings seem to be transported from
another era, yet they can link to just about anyone and invoke memories and emotions.
