Julie Isaacson
For the past decade, Julie Isaacson has worked in a variety of ceramic mediums. Her pieces are functional, non-functional, wheel thrown, hand built, high fired stoneware, low fired earthenware, or raku.
Using a combination of these techniques, she is currently focusing on creating legged vessels. Each piece is unique, and almost always a surprise. “The fun for me is allowing the clay to dictate my direction. The spontaneity and random design work keeps me interested and inspired.”
