At the age of ten I stood in the bathroom of my grandmother’s Oleta home—door closed, curtains shut, film in hand in
fist. In the subdued light of a red heat lamp, I poured water over open rolls of film with a curious, fascinated visage,
imagining the process used to develop film in a dark room. It was a magical feeling, I recall. Though I exposed the
images on the shot film, erasing captured family moments; I created an everlasting memory of my future. I’ve been
in love with photography ever since. Yes I have a formal education and a bachelor’s degree and tons of
experience but who cares, I’ll let the work speak for itself. Enjoy! |
