Tylor Krasowski Tyler Joseph Krasowski was born in Minneapolis in 1985, grew up in Chicagoland and most recently fled the state of Montana to pursue art here in Austin. In Montana, Krasowski received a BFA in drawing. Drawing is what Krasowski relies on not only for his work but for an everyday lesson in walking. His work is now based in the Printmaking tradition. He uses countless quirky notebook doodles which he then transform into relief prints. When not working subconsciously, his so-called purpose is to locate obsolete neighborhood abstractions, or antiquated rural myths. He also takes cartoon clouds very seriously.
